She was completely focused on what I wanted, and answered mine, my groom's, and my mother's questions without hesitation and total experience/professionalism. She has done countless weddings and it shows! My wedding was completely perfect! Every special request was no problem at all, I've heard all these horror stories about drama that could happen and how you have to just enjoy yourself even if it doesn't come out "perfect".... but everything was! Meghan kept everything on track, her staff was professional and attentive, and the focus stayed on my husband and I the whole night!

My daughter's wedding was the evening after St. Augustine turns on their NIGHTS OF LIGHTS, therefore we did not have the crowd but the lights from The Roof were wonderful. The Bridge of Lions, the coaches light went driving by, the trees, the building. The weather was perfect! The wedding coordinator, Meghan, did all the work. I was asked, then it was performed. PERFECTLY! It was SO worth every minute! Thank you The White Room for making my attendance was easy! Comments from family/friends attending: CLASS WEDDING. A perfect comment!

I had looked for venues for awhile, and had found that they were all dull. Just plain white walls and nothing exciting, then I came across the White Room and checked it out. It was unbelievable!! The most gorgeous views and room. I used the 3rd floor rooftop.It was amazing. Jen was my event planner and she was the reason my reception was perfect. I must have sent her 100 emails, and every time she responded immediately. She was so willing to help me, and so professional. She was able to answer all my questions and help with any suggestions. The food was awesome. The White Room holds a food tasting so you can try different foods, and some of their drinks. The food is made on site, and was fantastic. My guests are still talking about it. We had a sit down dinner. The servers were great, they mingled and were on top of everything. The venue itself is breathtaking. They include all furniture inside and on the rooftop, and it is beautiful. There are no hidden costs for furniture rental, tables and chairs, cake cutting, dish ware, linens, clean up, or other fees that other venues charge. The space is so beautifully decorated that you do not need to spend money on extra decorations. The inside were we had dinner had exposed brick, and you felt like you were in a amazing loft in New York City. The rooftop is amazing and they have the bar there. The views are unbelievable. You see the whole downtown and the river. My guests could not believe how amazing the whole reception was. The reception and venue felt like we were king and queen. The value of what you get is amazing. They have the best prices and it is worth every penny! During cocktail hour the servers passed around our signature drink,which everyone loved, and hors de' oeuvres. Everything had such an amazing flow. From cocktail hour, to inside for a butler passed seated dinner, toasts, cake cutting, to dancing. At the end of the night Jen arranged our grand exit. Everyone was escorted outside, and had sparklers lit while we got in our getaway car. Amazing. The White Room should be the only venue you look at and chose. I am telling you, I could not have asked for a more perfect choice!! We felt like royalty and the guests could not believe how amazing it was. They had every detail perfect. They were so knowledgable and professional. I recommend The White Room to everyone!! It really was perfect!!

AMAZING!!! The venue was BEAUTIFUL!! We received so many compliments on how beautiful everything was and that the venue was PERFECT!! We had our ceremony on the rooftop overlooking the bay and the day was amazing...the weather perfect, the service great and everything looked perfect. They are very professional and quick on responding with any questions. You receive you own event manager that will work with you on any questions, concerns, and ideas you may have. Meghan was so sweet and very professional! They have the entire process of the wedding day down perfectly ...it was flawless. I couldn't have asked for a better day and The White Room staff helped deliver exactly that. The value is spot on for all of the services you are receiving. I hope you choose to have your special day there. My day was so memorable and perfect...I promise if you choose this venue you will have the same experience.

The White Room was absolutley hands down the best people and place to work with for my wedding reception. Not only was the staff friendly, helpful, timely, and accomodating, but my guests said the food at our wedding was the best wedding food they had ever had. I planned an out of state wedding and had no problems at all with any of the planning over email and phone calls. The location and setup is top notch. They helped me set up everything in the way that I wanted and never stepped in the way at all. The wait staff during the reception was awesome too! They helped the night go smoothly and coordinated our depature at the end of the night. I think this place is fantastic!!!!

They over exceeded all my expectations. Our guests are still raving about the food and the view 6 months later. Our ceremony was held on their beautiful rooftop that overlooks the water....we have beautiful pictures of sailboats sailing by behind us during our vows. I just can't express how wonderful everything was. It was also a great location considering that I had many out of town guests that had never been to St Augustine before. It really captured the simple beauty of the historic city and gave them more than just another wedding to attend. I can honestly say that the White Room didn't just give my husband and I a memorable wedding. They gave it to all of our guests too.

On September 16, 2011 my sister got married. Her reception was at the White Room. What made our day particularly difficult was that this was a destination wedding and also that I acted as both the maid of honor and also her wedding planner. This 2 job day I quickly realized was more than I could handle. Meghan Berman our event coordinator and The White Room staff stepped in and made it fantastic. Not only did the night go as smooth as possible, but they went out of their way to help us out. When my dad realized the battery in his camera remote was out, a staff member ran out to get a new one right in the middle of the party. That was more than we could have asked for. I had trouble letting go of the control for the night, but I was put at ease with Meghan and the staff and I was able to relax and have fun. Being the wedding planner I was so appreciative of Meghan's quick responses to all of my millions of questions I had the year prior to the event and she really made me feel that no question was too small or silly. From one wedding planner who has seen her fair share of events, good and bad, I highly recommend this facility if you are trying to figure out a place for your reception in St. Augustine, Florida. I worked specifically with two ladies: Courtney and Meghan. They did a fantastic job. Courtney was our wedding coordinator on the day Dan and I were married, and she truly put us at ease! I've never felt more taken care of anywhere else in my life. The whole night went off without a hitch. Everyone was so kind and friendly, the food was delicious, and the night was perfect.

We used the complimentary room at the Bella Bay for the groom and groom's men to get ready before the wedding - which was wonderfully convenient for the guys.

I cannot say enough about the exceptional service I received from this place. They have an incredible team of professionals who know exactly what they're doing. Everything was top notch. If I had to do it all over again, I would definitely keep everything as it was --- perfect!

The White Room. What a place! I am so happy this is where Dan and I chose to get married. The location was absolutely perfect and the customer service and professionalism of the staff are out of this world.

The White Room St. Augustine is not only one of the most beautiful places to get married, but also one with the best service in town. The White Room captures St. Augustine's qualities as it overlooks the bay and is downtown with exposed brick walls and shabby chic decorations, just walking into the room it sells you on having your wedding there. But, once you meet the staff, you'll be even more sure that it's the place you'll want to be married. The staff is welcoming, extremely helpful and gracious. My event planner, Meghan helped plan my entire wedding over the phone and via email (as I live in Missouri), she took the time to envision exactly what I wanted for "my day" and made sure that all my dreams came true. The food was beyond delicious, every guest at our wedding was amazed at wonderful it was (prime rib with chicken florentine), the servers were always attentive, drinks were always full, appetizers constantly passed - everything was flawless. If you are a bride, planning to get married in St. Augustine, trust me, The White Room or The White Room Loft is the place to get married. (PS - Meghan, my event coordinator was absolutely fabulous - ask for her :)

We did a brunch Reception on July 2nd 2011. What a pleasure to work with! We were able to adjust our menu. I think people might think it is a bit high in price. But we were on a tight budge and Meghan work with us all the way. I have to say THE WHITE ROOM was worth every penny we spent. We live across the state and to have had to put everything together like location, quality of food, help to set-up, help to serve, help to clean up..... etc. Again it was worth every penny spent. ronmitch68@aol.com if you want suggestions.

The White Room is one of the most fabulous wedding venues in North Florida! I'm so happy we choose to have our reception there. We were on the second floor and just loved the open space and bar along with the great balcony overlooking the bay. Courtney made planning a breeze and worked with us to make sure the wedding was exactly how we envisioned it. And the food was AMAZING! We got so many compliments on the quality and display of the food.

Our wedding went wonderful. The white room was a great venue. Everyone raved about the view from the roof and I could barely get people inside to dance. The White Room was an incredible venue for our ceremony and reception! From the second we walked in, my mom knew this was the place! The food is ridiculously good- the shrimp and grits are incredible and probably the best I've ever had! Courtney and the rest of the White Room were absolutely perfect as they helped us plan our wedding! We got SO MANY compliments on the beauty of the view and the loft and the food!! Most of our guests were from out of town and we know the White Room gave them a true St. Augustine experience! My wedding was two weeks ago at The White Room and it was truly the best night of my life! We had our ceremony on the Rooftop and our reception in the Loft. Courtney and staff did a fantastic job from the start of my planning 10 months ago through the end of the reception There was not one detail overlooked and we were treated like royalty.

The White Room is an absolutely stunning venu with a few different options to fit your needs. The food was 5-star - our guests are still raving about the beef tenderloin and shrimp and grits.

I would absolutely recommend The White Room to any brides looking for a beautiful place to get married in St. Augustine. Not only is the view amazing but The White Room is so beautiful and unique inside!!

I also couldn't have asked for anything more on our wedding day! Courtney was our coordinator and she was seriously amazing!! I was really nervous about the flow of events and not knowing what to do but she was always on the sidelines, ready in case we had any questions or tell us where we needed to be next.

We had our ceremony and reception in the second floor at the White Room. The setting was perfect and totally astonished every guest attending. The character of the the venue is just what we were looking for and the staff made sure everything went just as planned. Meghan was such a fantastic planner/coordinator. She helped us to find vendors and made suggestions leading us in the right direction. We are super grateful for all that she and the staff have done to make our day the best that it could have been. Thank you La Dolce Vita Studio for taking such fabulous pictures of Amy and Jason's Reception! Etherial swags of chiffon draped the reception room to the crystal chandelier in the center which added just the right touch of sophisticated ambiance. The night began with an elegant 4 piece quartet for cocktail hour. Guests enjoyed hors de' oeuvres of Shrimp Cocktail, Crab Cakes and Bruschetta. The main course was Herb Crusted Seared Beef Tenderloin, Herb Whipped Potatoes, and Asparagus. For dessert guests enjoyed Wedding Cake and a coffee station. What a great group...everyone was dancing in no time. The night ended with a sparkler exit and the happy couple being whisked away in a horse drawn carriage to start their new life together!

The couple dined on a southern cuisine style menu complete with Barbeque Pork Biscuits, Crab Fritters, Applewood Smoked Bacon wrapped Scallops, Southern Mac and Cheese, Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Green Beans, and a Shrimp and Grits Martini station. When I first saw a picture of the White Room on a photographer's website I knew I had to see it in person. Once I saw the dark hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, floor to ceiling mirrors, and the wall of windows overlooking the Matanzas Bay I was sold. This place is absolutely gorgeous!! The space can accommodate any style or theme. There are three options available; the main ballroom, the loft space for a more intimate feel or the rooftop. Each space is beautiful. The food was amazing! You can choose from a variety of options from a formal sit down dinner to a buffet style brunch. The choice is yours. Shannon and the rest of the staff were great!! Any question I had she answered and when the wedding day came, I knew that I didn't have to worry about a thing.

My father and I found this vendor a few months before the wedding and I fell in love. The main room, especially after dark, is amazing between the lighting, wood floors, and the amazing view. The staff is amazing and really works with you to ensure that this is the best experience you will ever have. Unfortunately it rained on our wedding so we could not use the rooftop as planned but the staff moved everything so quick and quietly that my guests never noticed, and they let me make the final call instead of telling me what would happen. The over all cost wasn't that bad, and in all fairness we did opt. for the highest package they offered...and it was worth every penny. I really wish I had made my reception longer there, but the memories will never be forgotten.

I came to The White Room after having already booked another venue. The moment I saw The Loft at The White Room and met Shannon, I changed my venue. Shannon and her staff were amazing. If Shannon wasn't available Megan had an answer for me. I knew that my wedding day was as important to them as it was for me. On our wedding day the wait staff was awesome. Bringing my girls and I water, one waitress even brought me a fan to fight off the heat! Shannon was pleasant and handled everyone’s anxiousness with a smile. The Loft itself stole the show. Our guests could not stop applauding the roof top! My husband and I are already trying to figure out how we can have another party in the Loft at the The White Room!!

When my fiancé and I were looking for a venue for our wedding, we were having a hard time finding a place we could both agree on and afford. I saw a picture of the White Room on a photographer's website and immediately fell in love. Then when I visited it, I knew it was the place for us. The space itself is absolutely stunning. From the exposed brick walls, floor to ceiling mirrors and curtains, a wall of windows overlooking the Matanzas Bay, and dark wood floors, this space can compliment any color scheme or design theme. There is also an intimate 3rd floor loft that is great for smaller affairs. If you are wanting to enjoy a great view, then the rooftop space is for you. It overlooks the St. Augusine marina, the bay and the newly renovated Bridge of Lions. Throughout the entire planning process, the staff at the White Room, especially Shannon Walters, were wonderful. They were able to answer any of our questions, settle our nerves, and handle any complications along the way. Come the day of our wedding, I knew that there was nothing to worry about. The food was amazing!! We did a buffett style reception, but they offer several different options to cater to everyone. All of our guests loved the potato martini bar (highly recommended). So if you are looking for a space that as character with elegance, then this is the venue for you.

What a great place for a wedding or any type of party!! The room is beautiful and the views are breathtaking! The staff was very organized and easy to work with. They were very quick to respond to emails or voicemails and answer any questions that I had. They also worked well with the other vendors (florist, coordinator, etc) that were there for the big day! Additionally, the food was amazing! The staff that handled the food and the bar was great and very friendly! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a memorable event!

When my husband and I walked onto this site we booked it on the spot. It is such an amazing space in the historic St. Augustine. We are still getting comments from our guests about how the food was outstanding. We were able to really turn the space into exactly what we wanted due to the neutral canvas. The staff was outstanding as well as they allowed us to enjoy ourselves and not smothering you with 'things to do' during the reception. Everything was very laid back and enjoyable.

The White Room will be hosting its 2^nd Annual 4^th of July Rooftop Celebration.

Pre admission this year will be $75 per person and will include a fresh market station with fruit and imported cheeses, salad, a shrimp and grits station, Rosemary and Herb Crusted Beef Tenderloin, Bing Cherry Chicken, garlic herb whipped potatoes, fire roasted vegetable and dessert.

We will also be hosting an open Premium Bar including Smirnoff Vodka, Bombay Gin, Bacardi Rum, Dewars Scotch, Canadian Club Whiskey, Jim Beam Bourban and Jose Cuervo Tequila.

Doors open at 7:30pm and we will be celebrating until midnight. A valid ID must be presented at the door and appropriate dress is required. (No ball caps, ripped jeans, sneaker, etc.)

Hi All! It has been a busy month over here but we have been enjoying the wonderful 'fall' weather! Each year the St. Augustine Young Professionals Organization (YPO) hosts a 'womanless beauty pageant' to raise money for charity. Now in the 3rd year, the charity of choice is the St. Augustine ARC. This organization's purpose is to help severally handicapped children in the St. Augustine area and prepare them for the life that lies ahead. I would love to see you all at here helping to support this amazing cause. I have included the ad with some more information about the pageant. Here are some bullet points to keep in mind:

*If you are not booked with The White Room yet, you are welcome to attend but please limit your attendees to yourself and a single guest. When providing your RSVP, please let me know your event date and the approximate number of guests you will have attending your reception.

*Please bring your gift certificates if they have been issued to you (many of you will not have certificates as your contract states that a tasting is provided instead of gift certificates for O.C. *We will be sampling popular entrees, stations, appetizers and hopefully some cake too! For those of you who are looking to heavy appetizers and stations, please let me know in advance so I can group the tables accordingly.

ST. AUGUSTINE , Fla. (Sept. 8) St. Augustine has been named by American Express as one of the ten “surprising, exciting, and cutting-edge places” in the world where Americans can enjoy one of their favorite travel pastimes.

A survey of American Express cardholders revealed that 87 percent selected vacation destinations based on their personal interests. The top ten interests named were culinary, family events, music, fitness and exercise, education/learning, history, the arts, wine/champagnes, fashion/shopping and sporting events. American Express then selected ten “unexpected’ destinations worldwide where these interests could be enjoyed. Their history recommendation was St. Augustine , Florida .

American Express said: “Not many history buffs would consider St. Augustine , Florida their ultimate destination. However, this city celebrated its 400th birthday back in 1965. Founded by the Spanish in 1565, it is where the nation’s first schools, hospitals and banks were built. St. Augustine lays claim to the first European birth in the New World and is the oldest town plan in the United States . Labor Day Updates

I will be here tomorrow, Saturday August 30th to take appointments and calls. However, I am taking a mini vacation to Marathon Key and will be out of the office on Sunday (my normal day off) until Wednesday, Sept. 3rd. I will be back on Thursday, Sept 4th. Also, because some of you have asked, we are not participating in the bridal show at World Golf Village this weekend, but will be at the UNF show on Sunday, September 7th. Hello everyone! It has been a very active couple of months for us here at The White Room! As we are approaching the extra hot summer months of July and August, we are taking some time to relax a little and spend some quality time with our brides!

We will be hosting our 2nd quarter "Tasting Event" on July 20th, 2008 at 4pm. The event will last for 2 hours. If you have not attended the event- it is a must! We provide yummy samples of our food favorites and some great signature cocktails. I will also be there to discuss all the little 'extras' available from The White Room to you to personalize your special day! I would love to see you there! If you have already used your gift certificates to dine at O.C. White's, please email me at parties@ocwhiteoom.com, and we can make special arrangements to have you attend (at a minimal cost). April Showers brought the May Flowers!

Here are some photos, courtesy of ztphoto.com, of our May 3rd wedding. It was a beautiful event- the theme was "Old World" meets "New World" with a pewter and blue color theme, romantic sheer draperies were hung from the ceiling, several food stations were scattered around the room (the Paella and Tenderloin/Crab Cake stations were both huge hits), an amazing monogram adorned the dance floor and soft blue gel lighting gave the room a little whimsy. Red and White Sangrias were butler passed during the cocktail hour while guests enjoyed the spectacular view of the bayfront from our private balcony while Gabriel strummed away on his guitar. As the night proceeded, guests danced the night away with The Plaids, playing awesome oldies. Other vendors included PRI Productions (specialty decor), Roses of Sharon (Floral arrangements) and
Sweet Weddings (cake).

The White Room Loft is now OPEN! As you may know, we have been renovating the Loft for the past three months- I am now thrilled to say the space is complete! We hosted our first event last night and here are a few pictures of the space- before the party started. I am sure there will be many more to come, but here is a sneak peak. Enjoy!

Sarah and Dave's Big Day

Sarah & Dave held their ceremony and reception here at The White Room on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in November. Following an emotional ceremony, the couple danced the afternoon away with friends and family. They departed on a horse drawn carriage as guests watched from the balcony. Flowers were provided by Flowers by Shirley, Photography by Zach Thomas and Cake by Sweet Weddings.

Ali and Tripp

For Ali and Tripp's big day (December 15th, 2007), the couple chose an Orchid theme accompanied by Apple Green and Black accents. Ali's grand parents are orchid farmers, so in honor of the big day they were given an orchid named after them! Each table was adorned with a beautiful orchid plant and soft candle light.

Tripp and Ali were surprised with a photo of Ali's great grand parents and their original marriage certificate- December 15th would actually have been their great grand parent's 100 year wedding anniversary!
